the beneficial and authentic in this world? No "likes" that supposedly measure our influence or worth, or AI that generates fake news stories or homework assignments.
Things are not always as they appear. Clouds can keep us from seeing the sun shining, and things look dismal and we doubt God knows what's going on down here.
Though all this can, if we let it, ambush our confidence and security in our daily life, it actually is a great time to be alive. While our world is changing at the speed of light, our sovereign Lord has been the same since He invented the speed of light (and sound).
"But You are always the same; You will live forever." Ps 102:27
"I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God,
"who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty." Rev 1:8

And the authentic real news is He sees us for who we really are and He loves us anyway, always and forever:
"But God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us
while we were still sinners." Romans 5:8
"See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should
be called children of God! And that is what we are!" 1 John 3:1
God's 'steadfast love' appears about 200 times in His Word. He must really want us to understand that it's unshakeable, and everlasting. It doesn't matter what part of the world we are in, what our situation is, what clouds are overcasting and impairing our vision of His power - He is still reigning in heaven and the earth belongs to Him.
"The earth is the Lord's, and everything in it. The world and
all its people belong to Him." Ps 24:1
Don't be deceived by the clouds of this world. Our God reigns! He is real and authentic and worshipping Him with all we have is the most life-giving nourishment for our body and soul.
✙ Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.

Thank you for always leading us back to what is true and lasting!
